Purchase Older Versions of iData

iData 2.1 for OS X 10.3 - 10.3.9

This version is available for those who have not upgraded to OS 10.4 (Tiger). Requires OS 10.3 or later.

Note: To enter your serial number after you purchase it, resume using iData 2, and select Licenses... from the iData 2 menu.

Requires a valid serial number beginning with IDX, ID9, or IG2 that was either purchased from us or registered with Casady & Greene, Inc. If your serial number was not registered, contact us for a number you can use to purchase the upgrade.

A note about the upgrade price: A few people have asked why the upgrade is as high as it is. I hope this will help to explain. First, we are not Casady & Greene, Inc. Mike Wright (the iData programmer) was laid off from Casady & Greene, Inc. in the summer of 2002, although he continued to provide upgrades and support for iData Pro without pay. Robin Casady was not an active member of C&G management and received no remuneration for that same time period. Furthermore, we paid a large amount of cash to obtain the publishing rights to iData. To continue supporting iData 2 and funding the web site, we need to recoup our investment. If you would like to see iData continue to improve, please help by supporting the product.

iData 1.0.17 for OS X 10.0 - 10.2

This version is available for those who are using OS X version 10.2 through 10.3.9. It is not fully compatible with OS 10.4 (Tiger). This is the old Casady & Greene, Inc. version that has limited features. It does not support styled text or images in the freeform text area.

iData 1.0 for Windows

This version was developed for Casady & Greene, Inc. and is being sold without promise of updates or technical support. We were unable to obtain the source code from Casady & Greene, Inc. when we obtained the publishing rights. As far as we know, this version is quite stable with no known bugs. Unfortunately, the file format is not compatible with the Mac or iPhone versions. So, datafiles cannot be exchanged. We would like to update the Windows version in the future, but cannot make any promises. It includes label and envelope printing. Users report that it works fine with Vista. If it doesn't work for you, contact us within 30 days of purchase for a refund.
