(01/14/11) Changes: 1. When changes have been made to a read-only datafile, command-S will bring up a Save As... dialog. 2. Added Grab Web Address support for Camino 2.x. (Note that Firefox 3 no longer supports AppleScript commands for getting the current Web address, so Grab Web Address does not work with Firefox 3.) 3. Added Go Back One Viewed Record and Go Forward One Viewed Record items (with hot keys) to the View menu. Bug Fixes: 1. Fixed device identification problems that could occur when trying to sync with multiple WiFi devices running. 2. Fixed problem that could arise when trying to sync with multiple WiFidevices. 3. Fixed failure to recognize a US Robotics USB modem. 4. Fixed a bug that could cause a crash when closing a datafile that was set to open read-only, but to which changes had been made. 5. (03/18/10) Change: 1. Added a new User Guide page on Password Protection and Encryption. This page explains how to create and use a disk image to protect your sensitive datafiles. It does not involve any actual changes to iData Lite operations. Bug Fixes: 1. Fixed a bug where a newly added record in a datafile set to add new records to the end of the datafile might not go to the end of the datafile if not all records are selected. 2. Fixed a bug where going from an empty record to another record in a clone window would cause that empty record to be deleted. (This should only happen in the "real" window, not in a clone window.) 3. Fixed a bug where syncing a datafile on an iPhone that doesn't have a copy of that datafile on it could cause a crash. |

It is no longer necessary to remove the sync ID on the Mac side in order to make a second attempt. Bug Fix: 1. Fixed a bug where a datafile transferred from another computer might fail to open if the default font settings involve fonts that are not on the second computer. |

(01/25/10) Bug Fixes: 1. Fixed a bug where launching iData by double-clicking a datafile in the Finder caused iData to fail to increment its internal open-datafile count. 2. Fixed some bugs in the "shared on a network" preference that occurred when running a single copy of iData on the network server. 3. Added an alert for the case when the user tried to "Save As..." a datafile that was opened by double-clicking in the Finder to an area for which that user did not have write permission. 4. When a datafile has been opened read-only, the Save item in the File menu is now disabled. |

1.0.2 (03/22/09) Changes: 1. Added Folder of iData 3 Datafiles... to the Import submenu, under the File menu to batch convert .id3 datafiles to .idm format. 2. If the user has multiple WiFi devices, iData now asks the user to select the iPhone only the first time. After that, it tries to use the same iPhone each time, and only asks again when the originally selected iPhone cannot be found. (The assumption here is that the WiFi Server page is open in iData Mobile.) 3. During synchronization resolution, the remote datafile window now opens offset down and to the right, instead of right on top of the local datafile window. 4. Added an option to the Special tab in iData 3 Preferences that lets the user specify that the same synchronization method will always be used for all iData Mobile (.idm) datafiles. 5. Improved the text of several dialogs. Bug Fixes: 1. Updated the Grab Web Address routines to work with version 4 of the iCab browser. 2. Fixed a bug that caused multiple synchronization resolution windows to come up for users who had multiple WiFi devices. 3. Fixed a bug that would cause a crash if you: a.
